Fundamentals of Hip and Knee Arthroplasty for Orthopaedic Residents: There is still space left in the Long Beach, Calif. session of this surgical skills training course that will be held May 15-17, 2015 in the Science Care Lab. Participation in the courses is free for orthopaedic residents in North American residency programs with the approval of their residency program director. AAHKS, AAOS, HS, and KS have underwritten the cost with educational grants from Pacira, Zimmer, DePuy/Synthes, Stryker, Biomet, TruCustom & OR Products, and Kinamed. New Investigator Workshop: The deadline to attend the ORS/OREF/AAOS New Investigator Workshop, May 15-16, 2015 in Rosemont, Ill. Has been extended to April 28, 2015. This long standing workshop will provide:  Essential & Practical Information for Early Career Development, Grant Writing Strategy & Skills, Networking for Collaboration, Real Time Feedback at the Mock Study Section, Face-to-Face Meetings with Faculty Reviewers & NIH Officers.  Register on the ORS website and contact Jola Lewsza at lewsza@ors.org.
