Symposia Topics Selected for AAHKS 2016

The Program Committee has selected eight symposia topics out of 37 submissions for the scientific program taking place November 10-13, 2016 during the AAHKS 26th Annual Meeting. These preliminary titles are subject to change:

  • Symposium I: Common Hip Arthroplasty Problems: Useful Alternative Solutions
  • Symposium II: It’s a Brave New World: Alternative Payment Models and Value Creation in Total Joint Replacement
  • Symposium III: Current Trends in Periarticular Injections for Pain Management in Total Hip and Knee Arthroplasty (Co-branded with ASRA)
  • Symposium IV: Practice Norms in Primary THA and TKA: A Membership Poll: What is Everyone Else Doing?
  • Symposium V: Understanding Hip Dysplasia: Evolving Disease Concepts and Treatment Innovations
  • Symposium VI: Periprosthetic Joint Infection Practical Guide to Management
  • Symposium VII: Three Challenges in Revision Total Knee Arthroplasty: Exposure Bone Deficit Management and Fixation
  • Symposium VIII: Too Loose Too Tight Just Right: Total Knee is a Soft Tissue Operation
